This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

The cuisine was exceptionally superb. The finest pho I've savored in South Bay. My husband and son, known for their discerning tastes, thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The service was outstanding, with staff catering attentively to every customer need. We will certainly be coming back.

I was very excited to see a new pho restaurant open in the area, especially since there are already several pho spots within a half-mile radius. Pho South Bay took over the former Maruhide Uni Club location, which closed during COVID, and the space has been empty ever since. The whole plaza felt pretty quiet for years, so it's great to see some new life being brought back to the area. I visited during their second week of soft opening, and the restaurant was already packed. We ordered the P5 Signature Pho and P2 Oxtail Pho, but both bowls came out extremely oily (see photos). You could literally taste the oil in every sip of the broth. At first, we thought it was just a layer of oil on top, but the entire bowl was overloaded with fat. I understand mistakes can happen during a soft opening, but it was pretty obvious that something wasn't right. Honestly, the bowls didn't look normal, and it seemed like nearly half of the broth was fatty oil. We brought it to our server's attention, and he immediately recognized the issue and replaced both bowls without any hesitation. The new bowls came out perfectly and had no issues at all. Once corrected, the pho was actually very good. The bro

Had lunch here recently and everything was fantastic. The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, and the service was quick. The Signature Pho (P5) had a flavorful and clean broth with generous portions of tender meat. We also ordered the Vermicelli with Grilled Pork, Egg Roll & Grilled Shrimp (V2), which was delicious and very satisfying. The Shrimp Spring Rolls (A2) were fresh and paired perfectly with the peanut sauce. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, generous portions, and excellent service. One of the best Vietnamese spots in South Bay. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Finally a new authentic Vietnamese restaurant in South Bay just opened. I visited on their soft opening and received 10% off promotion (good until 06/26/2026). Amazing food, friendly staff, and a warm atmosphere. Everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back. Finally I found a place for a real spicy beef noodles and Pho. Love this place!!!!
